Priorities for Next Release
Review of the status from the previous and current months.
Priority

• Hoopla Integration
  • Work will pick back up this release (as Sierra Export APIs are done)
• LION Implementation/Sierra APIs
  • Work complete, launch is May 14-15
• Sierra APIs
  • Export complete
  • Patron account integration next
    • Sometimes the API does not have all the functionality we need
    • Sometimes it does not work exactly as advertised
  • Adjusting the planning to allow for inconsistencies

Other Completed Work:

• Series Improvements
  • Discovered some old bugs as part of the series improvement
  • Existing bugs will not prevent R & D from launching, but are things that need to be fixed
• Manual grouping messaging
• Digital Archive Private Collections

Pika Roadmap
Next Release

• The Horizon ROA Driver is likely to be coming up soon
  • It is similar to the Sierra APIs
• Sacramento Discovery Partner Implementation kickoff in May, but will be in full force in June
• Next eContent Integration will likely be RBdigital
  • Looking at RBdigital magazines, eAudiobooks and some eBooks to see if the APIs are similar
  • Another potential eContent integration could be Kanopy
  • R & D will look at the rankings to see what everyone is using

Conferences Updates:

• Lloyd from Marmot went to the IUG (Innovative Users Group) conference
  • Marmot members who attended IUG will be sharing information about the sessions they attended as a Mini-IUG
  • The Mini-IUG will be recorded and posted on the Marmot.org website
  • R & D will watch for the announcement that Mini-IUG recording is available, and share the link with Discovery

Release Notes
