April 19, 2022

Notes: 

Pascal has worked to improve the search function and results in the Genealogy/Cemetery database. 

• Prioritization of name match, over obit (for example) in other records. 
• Ability to search by record/person number
• Issues regarding date field inconsistencies due to data entry errors (death date follows obit date, etc.)
  • Error messages are now in place when inconsistencies for dates are entered.
  • Who takes on resolving these errors? Bud, Mesa, and Eagle are the large record creators. 

     Action Items: 

• Submit ticket to resolve paragraph breaks (or lack thereof) in Notes field for Place and Organization entities. 
• Submit ticket to resolve lack of space between street name and city in Place and Organization entities 
• Email to Digital Archive Committee (and select others)to solicit volunteers to apply remedy. 
• Determine standard language for veteran information in Genealogy database. Retroactively apply to existing records.
