Vendor Demo Days

In order to ensure more favorable and consistent pricing for the upcoming calendar or fiscal year, it is advisable for Marmot to work with libraries to arrange vendor demonstrations on designated Vendor Demo days. This will allow for better budget planning and allocation.

Vendor Demo Days Process

  • A group of volunteer library staff members gathers to select a list of vendors
  • The vendors receive a questionnaire that they need to complete
  • The library staff reviews the responses to select vendors for demonstration
  • Marmot aims to collaborate with vendors to establish a suitable timetable
  • Marmot creates a schedule and a detailed description page
  • Marmot promotes Vendor Demo Days and encourages people to register for the sessions
  • The sessions for Vendor Demo Days will be recorded and uploaded to the respective page
