Demo of new features, bug fixes, and documentation for upcoming release

Current Release

  • Integrate Hoopla API
    • Almost complete
    • Mostly indexing improvements
  • Aurora Implementation
    • 99% Complete

Next Release

  • Sierra API Patron Integration
    • Replace all the patron interaction functions with API calls, so they are more standard and reliable   
  • Horizon ROA Driver
    • The reading history
    • Patron self-registration
  • DPLA Feed Improvements
    • Related entities as a subject field
    • Develop the process to demo it at the next Digital Archive meeting

Next Quarter

  • Sierra API Extract
  • Control of EContent Manifestations Display in Search Results and Grouped Work Views
  • Programing Language Updates
    • Need to work on PHP for speed and quality

Short Term

  • Record Grouping Adjustments
  • Clean Up Search Bugs
    • These are broken out into the Long Term section
  • Admin User Options
    • Some have already been added
    • The team will try to implement these options when possible
    • Some of the control for certain features and settings will be turned over to the admin users
