  • Mark
    • 1. Replacement for marc records with bibframe – update linked data
    • 2. How to make library records discoverable – waiting for III to download bibframe data. Google doesn’t care about bibframe – search for linked data – schema.org Site map may be doable for Pika
    • 3. Link data & marc mashup – 100 field, 0 subfield – link data source for titles we don’t have.
    • Link to VIAF database – Zepheira
  • Amy – Publish holdings in bibframe, link to each other, Google recognizes links

  • Timeline unknown Triple store – store links and where they link to.
  • UCC – Something we want to do , look into this, does overlay affect link to authorities, UCC, discovery partners, etc.
  • Karen N. – How do we push linked data as Mark’s priority?

  • Populate marc records with linked data
  • Amy – Talking about Mark’s recommendation for what UCC can be doing

  • Amy – follow up – what are members thinking about doing.
  • Lloyd – avoid jumping ahead, spending money, changing standards
  • Jamie – labor intensive – maintenance
  • Amy – LibHub maintenance, labor, time is minimal
  • Mark – no new labor since we already have data.
  • Shelly – supports Mark Marmot does work, no outside vendors, etc. LibHub up for about a year, not renewing contract with Zepheira, we can use Marmot linked data instead.

  • Nicole Becwar – Give examples to Mark of books that aren’t linking from Book Scholar
