Announcements
- Betsy Dick has left Mesa County Public. Lisa Solko has replaced her.
- Marcive quarterly authority update loaded.
FOLIO Updates
- CU-Boulder is planning to go live on FOLIO with INN-Reach on the Lotus version in Spring 22.
- Consortia SIG is talking about a system for consortial login.
- They aim to enable patrons from a cluster of collaborating institutions to log on to each other's library systems
- Acquisitions
- Ann-Marie demos importing invoices. This is working in Juniper and Kiwi. They are now able to load EDI invoices with more than 1000 lines.
- A single user can be assigned to more than one acquisitions unit.
- Data Import
- Still working on MARC to MARC mapping
- Field protections are only working with MARC to MARC mapping, for data import. Works for single record import.
- Chicago still can’t use data import. Complains that there is poor documentation on data import.
- Until now Inventory and MARC SRS records have been getting the same UUID if they are created at the same time. It is planned to change in Lotus. Ann Marie wants to know if we should change the old ones. There is a lot of discussion about whether this should change or not.
- Data import log improvements not happening for Lotus. This may be the primary improvement in Morning Glory for Data Import.
- Creating orders and invoices with MARC loads will be put off after that.
