New Functionality

• Handling of Repeated subtitles in display and indexing (Minute 00:20:00)
  • Titles that contain the subtitle will remove the subtitle from the title
  • Subtitles that are the same as the title will be suppressed from indexing and display

• Overdrive subtitles that are merely a series statement are removed from indexing and display. (Minute 3:27;04)

• The series will still display as the subtitle on Overdrive record views.

• Language & Translation facets now scoped. (Minute 4:57;25)
  • Only records contributing to a library or location’s scope will populate the language and translation facet for that scope.
  • Internal English language boost and Spanish language boost facets were scoped as well

• Unmerge record shortcut in staff view for Record views (Minute 10:50;18)
  • Must be logged in.  Must be an OPAC Admin or have the Cataloging role

• It will prepopulate the details needed to unmerge the title as well as the information in the Notes field.

• Merge work shortcut in staff view for Grouped Work views (Minute 12:38;24)
  • Must be logged in.  Must be an OPAC Admin or have the Cataloging role

• It will prepopulate the Source Grouped Work Id as well as the information in the Notes field.  You only have to enter the Destination Grouped Work Id.

• Sierra API Extract (Minute 09:10;17)
  • New merge works entries will trigger a re-extraction for related records from Sierra. (Works with Overdrive and Sideloaded records only still need the nightly full regrouping to take effect.)
  • New unmerge records will trigger a re-extraction for records from Sierra. (Overdrive and Sideloaded records only will still need the nightly full regrouping to take effect.)
• Record Grouping project (Minute 14:02;15)
  • Storing grouping factors with a permanent id in historical table regardless of whether a work has contributing records in search results.
  • This will be used to update grouped work ids at the completion of the grouping improvement project.

Bug Fixes

• Overdrive supplemental materials display properly in ‘Checked Out’ account pages (Minute 14:54;22)
• Default format determination will look for ‘book club kit’ or ‘bookclub kit’ (single word) in title fields for format Book Club Kit.
• When generating grouped work cover images, attempt to avoid using Playaway covers (Minute 16:54;15)
• Cover image URLs are not displayed on Record view pages in the Links section Anne Arundel export and indexing
  • Anne Arundel upgraded their ILS, but some other work caused issues with indexing. 
  • Exports were not being delivered as expected with the upgrade.
• Arlington Google Analytics link tracking fix

• Gale In Context for Mesa County
• Mackin ABDO for Lincoln County (AspenCat)
