FOLIO Updates

• FOLIO is starting to rotate high level meeting times so meetings will be accessible to all parts of the world.
• QuickMARC working on making searches case insensitive.
• User acceptance testing for Quincinallia.
• Metadata Management had a joint meeting with Resource Access to discuss replacing the 3-part item status with a new attribute called "process." This would identify the process that the item is undergoing. It could include a checklist of parts of the process. You could change the status based on finishing a step on the checklist.
• New acquisitions functions are being developed for consortia. Mostly about systems of central ordering and receiving. This is being developed for LoC.
