New Functionality

  • Extract Due Dates from Sierra DNA to avoid bug in full export process from Sierra upgrade

  • Prompt to place hold on an alternate edition if the preferred edition is checked out

    

  • Anne Arundel go-live work and post-go live clean up

    • Included On order titles in Pika for Anne Arundel

    • Added search suggestions data for Anne Arundel

    • Migrate user lists from Sirsi data into Pika

    • Display number of holds on title for Anne Arundel

    • Checked out magazines in patron’s My Checkouts page now display the call number as a subtitle, which has the issue information (date, issue number) for the magazine

    • Setting a reactivation date when freezing a hold is now optional

    • The Pickup By date for available holds now displayed in My Holds page

    • The hold Placed date now displayed in My Holds page

    • Title & Author now displayed for ILL holds on My Holds page (by querying the ILS APIs)

    • Title & Author now displayed for holds that Pika doesn’t have good MARC data for on My Holds page (by querying the ILS APIs)

  • Adams State Pika header updated to be consistent with the header on their libguides

  • Added a Show Sierra Password option for the Offline Circulation page

    

  • Added the Salida Assessor's Cards to the Map Collection

  • Display of any compound object in Pika

    

  • Format determination by popularity for Aspencat

Bug Fixes

  • Anne Arundel go-live work and post-go live clean up

    • Fixed email and text sharing in catalog

    • Some On Order items were displaying with status of On Shelf

    • Lost items no longer display in patron’s My Checkouts page

    • Claims returned items no longer display in patron’s My Checkouts page

    • On My Checkouts page, the days until due could be off by up to a day

    • On My Holds page, an unrelated book cover image would display for ILL holds

  • Archive

    • For libraries that have archive sharing turned off, archive search facets displayed collections & entities from other libraries

    • Prevent web search engines from indexing the Islandora server

    • Wikipedia information for place entities would not display when the library admin setting Catalog Enrichment, Show Wikipedia Content was turned off

    

    • Related archive collection would show when the collection is not supposed to be seen by Pika

    • Some parent/child relationships from Islandora not displaying correctly in Pika

    • Related object would not show in a object when the type of relationship was not specified

  • Search

    • Poor relevancy for title / author searches when 245c not filled out    

  • When exporting My Holds to spreadsheet,

    • date fields that had no date would show an erroneous date, now no date will be set

    • some date fields had the potential to be misformatted

  • Fixed the inclusion of and display of On Order items for Santa Fe

  • Fixed RSS Feeds based on search results

    

  • Quick Copy View link is not shown when the link would be displayed from within the pop up window     

  • Language for Blocking Link Account admin page was difficult to understand

  • Updated place hold failed message for Aspencat

  • Under Location Admin, ILS/Account Integration, the default value for Ptypes that can renew is set to * (meaning all ptypes), so that when a new location is created it is presumed patrons can place holds through that location’s interface
