Meeting Recording for 05/26/2021
- The following roles were updated at the 05/26 meeting: Serials Librarian, Serials Technician, Interlibrary Loan/Resource Sharing Coordinator, Instruction Librarian, Foundation/Fundraising/Grants/Gifts/Friends coordinator, and Acquisitions Librarian.
- The following roles are delayed until further notice: Business Services Librarian/coordinator, Data Steward (stats, reports, assessment), Innovation Librarian/coordinator.
- The group decided to finish with the remaining roles at the June 23 meeting.
- Adam mentioned that once the roles/responsibility section is finished the next thing will be to start working on the scaffolding for the foundation level concepts, the mid-level concepts, and advanced level concepts. We will need to make sure we cluster those appropriately so new people could easily be pointed to the foundation-level concepts for their role.
Action Items for 06/23: The group should look over the Roles/Responsibilities & Service Topic Framework before the next meeting. Please make comments about the "how-tos" in the Service Topic Framework document that you think would be necessary for the roles of Digital Archivist, Library metadata entry, Outreach Coordinator/Librarian, Public Computing Coordinator, Technology Trainer, Web Services/Webmaster, Work/Study Student Employee(Circulation), and Work/Study Student Employee (Tech Services).
