New Functionality

  • Added sorting options for MyHolds page

    • Available Holds options :

      • Title, Author, Format, Expiration Date (default), Pickup Location

      • Library Account (when there are linked accounts)

    • Pending Holds options

      • Title (default), Author, Format, Status, Pickup Location

    

  • Position (in queue) (Horizon, Koha, Symphony, CarlX libraries; also the default for these libraries)

  • Date Placed (Symphony Libraries)

  • Library Account (when there are linked accounts)

  • Pika Opac Admins can now enable “Offline Mode” from the catalog

    

        

Backend configuration setting to allow logins while in offline mode must be on

  • Set System Variable “offline_mode_when_offline_login_allowed” to “true”

    

    

    

    

  • Note: If the circulation system is already down, the Opac Admin won’t be able to initiate offline mode from the catalog

  • Recommended For You browse category

    • Only displays when the user is logged in and has rated titles

    

    

  • To enable Recommend For You browse category

  • Aspencat format determination “by popularity”

  • Archive Book and Page Views now have consistent viewing options

  • Archive Collection (Exhibit) page random image generator can now display any archive object

    

  • Sidebar expired card notice now customizable per library, with a substitution tag for the expiration date

    

    

  • All metadata for place entities are now displayed including the map view

    

  • Archive Usage page now has a total usage row at the bottom of the table

    

    

  • Archive Page objects now display descriptions when present

  • Marmot indexing updated so items with Display, Library Use Only, and Reserved Use status can be shown as checked out.

  • Prompt to place hold on an alternate edition for other unavailable statuses in addition to Checked Out.

    • Currently Unavailable, On Order, Coming Soon, In Processing, or Library Use Only

  • Fixed upload of custom covers for Marmot and Aspencat

  • Log correct date-time of last extract for Overdrive extracts

  • Some Pika servers were not restarting their web server on a nightly basis which could lead to poor performance as time went on.

  • Marmot reading history was not updating in nightly cron process

  • Fixed copy count and hold queue lengths for CarlX (Nashville)

  • Changed media code used to determine CarlX On Order records

  • On Manage Request page, the ID filter label was updated to Request IDs for clarity

Sideloads

  • Change Western’s ebrary sideload name to ProQuest Ebook Central
