Union Catalog Committee (2009 - )

The Union Catalog Committee (UCC, fka Database Task Force DBTF) sets policies and procedures to maintain a high-quality union catalog. Its scope includes cataloging, acquisitions, and serials activities by member libraries; indexing specifications; rules for bib record match & overlay; local variants of MARC standards; and authority control processing. The UCC currently focuses on cataloging practices for a growing variety of e-resources.

UCC meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month.  The Marmot Meetings Calendar shows meeting times and the meeting link.
